Im Bereich der Forschung ist die Unternehmensgruppe Angels Association Global sehr aktiv. Angels Association Albania hat aktuell die Aufgabe, auf dem Balkan ein Zentrum für Forschung und Bildung entstehen zu lassen. Aus diesem Grunde werden derzeit auch in Albanien Gespräche mit Landesvertretern geführt, um einen geeigneten Standort zu finden. Diese Gespräche erfolgen im Namen der deutschen Eco Eden Water GmbH & Co. KG im Rahmen der Etablierung des Grossprojektes Eco Eden Arche Noah. Zur Auswahl steht seit langem ein Refugium om Nordwesten von Spanien als gesicherte Option, während auf dem Balkan zwei Standorte in Albanien, aber auch zwei weitere Standorte in Montenegro und in Kroatien im Gespräch sind. Das Für und Wider in Albanien wird geklärt durch Bertila Kola, Head of Coordination unserer Unternehmensgruppe in Albanien. Die Auswirkung für den ausgewählten Standort sind umfasssend positiv und dürften die Ziele der Kommunalvertreter deutlich unterstützen.

Die Forschungsgebiete betreffen in der Hauptsache das Wachstum von bestimmten Algensorten und deren Verwendungsmöglichkeiten für die Kosmetiklindustrie sowie als Nahrungsergänzung. Ein weiterer Zweig der Forschung betrifft den Anbau und die effiziente Nutzung von Heilkräutern sowie den Anbau von Medizinalkräutern der Traditionellen Chinesischen Medizin. Weitere Forschungen betreffen Anbau und Nutzung besonderer Pflanzen zur Nutzung als Energieträger. Alle Forschungsbereiche und deren verwandte Gebiete sollen jeweils zeitnah im Bereich der Bildung der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert werden und deren Thematik als Bildungsmassnahme angeboten werden. Ein Tochterunternehmen der Angels Association Albania ist ein in der EU anerkannter Bildungsträger mit langjährigen Erfahrungen in Deutschland und Österreich.

 

 

Gateway Albania is initiated from members of our group of companies. Gateway Albania is working as Lobby for Exporters and in this sense always trying to find useful cooperations. At April 18th, 2016 we closed together with the AFI Albanian Food Industry a long-term cooperation with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Agricultural University of Tirana. Beside the general agreement to cooperate there are seven points in particular discripted to work for. First of all we decided to push, to establish and to promote new various farmers associations to have alternative possibilities for farmers in contrary to the currently active associations. These new associations shall be each specialized for different sectors of the field, like Association for the Consumer or Association of Processors.

In order to design development programs we decided to collect and to to create a database of interests, which shall be collected from students going into the terrain and talking with the market members. For this the financial support is to established, the questionnares are to be prepared and the regions has to be fixed. This wil be a good additional duty for students of the last semester of study and a good database to support several decisions.Also we decided to study and analyze the current market and preparation of scientific opinion for the drafting and adoption of monitoring development programs according to market requirements for livestock.

Our duties are to form questionnaires based on experiences from abroad, to install IT-programs to analyse the datas and the support regarding the collection of information, financing, logistic and lobbying.In additional we will be active to train farmers and stakeholders in the sector of livestock based on ethical rules and protection of animals. This p.e. by exchange visits of study for the professors of the faculty.Last the transfer of experiences from European Union countries through mutual visits has to be realized, the provision of laboratory services and professional expertise has to be offered to the market and in general a coherent functional processing industry has to be installed and supported - at least the project of Demeter Development Sh.p.k. "National Agriculture and Food Industry Quality Management System (NAF)" has to be supported. We are going ahead to discuss the next steps between the Faculty of Veteranian Medicine and Gateway Albania in June 2016 and to realize the first results.

At June 08th, 2016 Gateway Albania and the Agricultural University of Tirana closed a long-term agreement of cooperation to initiate and establish several possibilities to develope the agriculture economy and science in Albania. Beside the general agreement of cooperation and support we decided to establish working groups and that Gateway Albania is enable to realize research contracts given from companies abroad. Gateway Albania is initiated from mebers of our group of companies.

First we will  establish a long-term working group “Funds” to collect informations about possible national and international subsidies and funds in context with research, education and development of joint ventures, joint projects, investments, patents and universities. Secondly we will establish a long-term working group “ThinkTank” inside the university to collect informations from producers, collectors, trading companies, exporters and other market members into the sectors of medicinal and aromatic plants and energy crops about the current situation, the needs, the opportunities and the possibilities of this important Albanian market and international impulses and projects to operate a so named ThinkTank. In additional we will establish a long-term working group “Economy" as a non-profit joint project to acquire companies and interested entities for any kind of cooperation with the university to promote the resources, opportunities and possibilities of the university to push their publicity and to enable to increase contacts to and contracts with companies abroad to finance research contracts and joint projects and also with other entities to increase the knowledge and power.  

Gateway Albania will realize research contracts given from EcoEden Water GmbH & Co. KG and / or their partner companies in Germany, Switzerland and Austria in context with the REC-project and the different single projects around the meta-project of that company. These contracts shall have a big theoretical, classical research part, but also be connected to project groups and practical pilot projects. Currently their are possible research contracts like as: Microalgae - cultivation, use and quality assurance, Energy crops - competitive behavior, land use and alternatives, Medicinal herbs - Professional cultivation, reactivation of old seeds, soil management, quality assurance and Traditional Chinese Medicine - cultivation necessary herbs and roots outside China.

Gateway Albania enables also an exchange and training of professors from the university to a german university and an exchange program for students also between Albania and Germany. These parts are depending from the development of the REC-project, which shall be realized in the near of Lezha and which has a delay in case of the cooperation with the responsible authority of Lezha. If this project will not be realized there or at another location in Lezha it will be realized in Macedonia or Montenegro, but it is not clear, if these offers than could be given to an Albanian university.
